"Oasis"

Winter 2017

 

For this scene, I wanted to try my hand at a large scale environment while pushing my knowledge of lighting and material instances in UE4. This workflow proved key for rapid prototyping over the course of 5 weeks.  

 

The vast majority of the scene uses an asset kit of 55 assets, and around 95% of all meshes in the scene are textured via instances with per-channel material variation, vertex layers, and displacement. 

Software Used: UE4, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
